House Warming Party

I promised a long time ago that I would post some pictures of our house warming party from October.. eeek that was a while ago haha but better late than never right? Plus it was a pretty successful party! We had roughly 50 or so people there. Once everyone showed up the pictures stopped and mingling started :)

Mike is an amazing uncle.. ask anyone.

Here name is Betty, we unplugged her, she scared the dog.. and kids

 A little side note; Where you see the dead Mike's outline was where our original wall was. See the little edge of the wall on the left? on that picture ^ up there. That's where the doorway was. I'll get the reno pictures up next!

The best part about Halloween is being able to dress up!

We set up the garage so the kids could color and eat some candy. It was pretty chilly so I don't believe a whole lot of them stayed in there for very long even though we had heaters going. 

We had a donut eating contest and Peyton was a great helper as was Grandma!

Playing outside and warming up by the fire! My Dad was a pretty great fire master. 

My favorite part, besides coming up with names for the food was our giant leaf pile. All of our leaves fromt eh front and back yard were piled into this corner, the kids LOVED it. I will say, I was finding leaves in the house for a couple of days after :)

So there you have it friends, the gist of our house warming party! We have a lot of wonderful family and friends who came to celebrate with us. We love our home and are so excited for all of the future memories we will have. It's become our peaceful retreat.
