Hello Friends!

I realize its been awhile and we may have left off on the wrong foot. Well a disappointing foot.

Sometimes its weird blogging about things not related to infertility. So after our first failed IUI I just didnt know what to talk about. We spent this past month with our feet running once again. We shall see!

Anyways!
The past month has been filled with birthdays, projects and fun times.

Project 1:

I described to my sister as best I could what infertility felt like and with her amazing talent created the woman who depicts the hole you can sometimes feel in your womb while yearning to become an active mother. In this art piece I see a woman who strives to be hopeful while having moments of emptiness.

Its beautiful and I am so very grateful to my sister and her talent to put such indescribable feelings on paper.

Project 2:
Our new bed!
We're moving into my parents house in a couple of weeks and I dreamt up a bed that I could store things under. I explained it to my Dad and Mike and to Home Depot we went! A few mishaps and a day later my sweet dad sent us the picture of the bed he made us. Its perfect and Im so excited to use it!

I have been very blessed with amazing family member that support and understand me the best they can! I am also grateful for the communication that we have. <3

Project 3:

Packing = a hot mess
16 days until we move in completely and 24 days before we go to Utah to visit our good friends.

crazy!!

I want to say thank you to all of you amazing faithful people who have been keeping Mike and I in your prayers throughout our first IUI.

This isn't the update that I was hoping to be able to give you but, our journey to becoming parents continues.

Better luck next time, I guess.

Im gonna go stuff my face at all you can eat sushi now...
And

Birthday time!

I had a wonderful birthday week. Yep, you read that right. I had a whole week celebration, and it was perfect. Just what I needed to get my mind off of other  things.
I had three cakes throughout the week! I already showed you one of them here! Alyssa made this one. * drool*
On my actual birthDAY we went to the Zoo and my mom got me and Mike a year long zoo pass! Im so excited! Later that night Mike and I went out to eat at a restaurant I use to go to during high school. It was a nice throw-back moment for me haha

On saturday after I did a beautiful wedding we went to our friends house for cake and games.

She made me this cake!

One Sunday we went to the Woodwards for yummy chicken chili corn bread and cake. We celebrated two birthdays. Happy Birthday Steven! ( Mike's brother)

Lets just say I was feeling the love. It was a great celebration. I loved all of the time we spent with family and friends.
